The Jump will be, well, jumping back on our screens in January and two big names have reportedly signed up.

Olympic sprinting legend Linford Christie has signed a big money deal to take to the Austrian slopes. He is set to earn a massive £50,000 for taking part.

“Linford’s a brilliant signing. He’s incredibly competitive and has an unbelievable will to win. But being a brilliant athlete doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll be great on the slopes as it’s a completely different discipline,” a source told The Sun.

“Lots of reality shows have tried to get him in the past and Channel 4 have managed it so they are very happy.”

Meanwhile, former Westlife star and perennial reality TV favourite Brian McFadden has also agreed to have a go at the ski-jumping show, reports Digital Spy.

As well as competing on the slopes, the third series of The Jump will see the celebs live together as well.

Previous series of the show, hosted by Davina McCall, were won by Joey Essex and former X Factor winner Joe McElderry.

But taking part in the show isn’t without the risk of injury - Strictly babe Ola Jordan broke her leg last year.

We hope you know what you’ve got yourselves in for, boys…
