The View fans have been left stunned after a video emerged showing Kyle Falconer apparently throwing a punch at his bandmate on stage.

The clip circulating on social media showed chaos breaking out as the Same Jeans singers played a gig at The Deaf Institute in Manchester.

Frontman Falconer suddenly throws a punch towards a bandmate identified in reports as bass player Kieren Webster, as audience members are heard gasping in surprise.

He also appears to kick out at his bandmate in the shocking footage.

In a clip of the bust-up filmed from another angle, a man — presumably Falconer — can be heard yelling: “I'll f****** kill you.”

Fan Jason Daniels told Kennedy News that he noticed bickering between frontman Falconer and bassist Webster before the latter kicked a microphone stand.

His shocking footage then shows Falconer appearing to throw a punch as others are trying to break them apart.

A second clip shows Falconer returning to the stage after a break to sing some acoustic numbers where he addresses the incident.

He said: "If you want, I think you should maybe ask Kieran to come up and finish the set. The problem with this band is he wants to sing the songs and he can't, right."

Daniels says the packed Deaf Institute was stunned to silence during the brawl but chatter turned to whether they'd be getting a refund as they left.

Daniels says the incident happened after bassist Webster swapped with Falconer to become the lead singer for a few tracks and it was when Webster was walking back to his old position that he kicked the mic.

Fans of the Scottish band admitted they couldn’t believe what they were watching.
