They've Got Hooves! Playful Goats 'Dance' on Their Hind Legs

Some lively young goats “danced” on their hind legs earlier this month as they tried to munch on some low-hanging maple leaves on a Cumberland, Maine, farm.

The footage was captured by Hope Hall of Sunflower Farm Creamery, located in Cumberland.

“Our youngest farm animals think everything is a toy including…weeds, solar lanterns, leaves, bees, sunflowers, fire pits, chairs, and glass topped tables (we’re going to have to move those now that the Mini Nubians have learned to jump on them!),” Hall captioned her YouTube video of the rambunctious farm animals.

“This is just a little taste of the shenanigans during evening chores tonight,” she added.

An estimated “60 playful little goats” are born on the farm each spring, Hall said. Her YouTube channel features a wealth of videos showing the daily life and adventures of the farm’s inhabitants. Credit: Hope Hall via Storyful
