Mum-of-two stunned after 'scumbag' thieves steal her GARDEN in bizarre overnight raid

A family have been left heartbroken after their entire garden was stolen overnight.

Mum Sue Scorer had placed artificial grass across the entire front garden of her home in Livingston, West Lothian.

But the huge strip of astroturf was stolen by thieves who moved her children’s trampoline and other garden toys in order to get to it.

Sue, 30, says that sons Aaron, eight, and four-year-old Charlie were left in tears.

‘I woke up on Sunday morning and was washing my hands when I looked out my window and saw that the trampoline was on the other side of the garden’, Sue explained.

‘I opened the window to see what was going on and saw all the grass was gone and the fence was down. ‘I thought I was dreaming. I was in shock, I couldn’t believe it.’

Sue originally paid £3,000 for the turf four years ago, and it has been used as a football pitch by her two young sons.

‘It had to be planned. There was no way someone was just strolling past and decided to take it’, she explained.

A neighbour of Sue’s also had their astro turf stolen on the same night, with the whole ordeal captured on CCTV.
