You know the drill by now: things are starting to ease across the country ever so slightly, but we’re still socially distancing and spending most of our time indoors.

Still, the internet has done it's thing, with theatre, comedy and art exhibitions all headed online.

Besides, there's light on the horizon: more restaurants are opening for delivery, there are plenty of online cocktail and wine masterclasses to get stuck into and cinemas hopeful of opening soonas well.

Tune in for a charity night of comedy and theatre

Tonight there’s an evening of arts and comedy taking place in aid of mental health charities Mind and Calm, with stand-up, poetry and theatrical performances taking place for The Show Must Go Online. Expect writing from the likes of Jade Anouka, Ella Duffy and Caoilinn Hughes, as well as performances from Rose Leslie, James Atherton and more. It’s free to air, but donations are most welcome. Tune in from 7.30-9.30pm.

New York’s Public Theater is hosting this star-studded fundraiser, promising “songs and stories” from the likes of Alicia Keys, Antonio Banderas and Meryl Streep. It’s a late one, kicking off at 1am, but promises to be one of the most star-studded events of the week.

Watch Fleabag and support a fantastic cause

Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s final return to the play is still available to watch online to raise money for the NHS and a number of coronavirus charities. The one-woman show, which was made into an internationally lauded series, will be available to rent for 48 hours from the Soho Theatre, where it was originally staged.
