Get jazzy

Start the week with a little jazz in Soho’s beloved Ronnie Scotts, which is hosting its fourth International Piano Trio festival all this week. Things kick off tonight with a Piano-thon - their word, not ours - which ends up with four pianists battling it out with the blues.

Until Aug 26, Ronnie Scott’s, 47 Frith St, W1D 4HT, ronniescotts.co.uk

Raise a glass to Princess Margaret

Today also marks what would have been Princess Margaret’s 87th birthday. If you’ve watched the Crown, you’ll know she loved drinking up and dining out, and her one time favourite restaurant, Maggie Jones, is celebrating this week with a special menu of her favourite dishes, including Chicken & Artichoke Pie. Make like Maggie and have a few gin n’ tonics, too.

All week, Maggie Jones, 6 Old Ct Place, W8 4PL, maggie-jones.co.uk

Honest Lies

The Camden Fringe Festival is in full swing. Head to The Star of Kings in King's Cross for dark comedy Honest Lies, which follows the toxic relationship between failing actor Sam and his naive but successful partner Claire. It’s surreal satire on self-important theatre and runs until Thursday.

Until Thursday, The Star of Kings, 126 York Way, N1 0AX, starofkings.co.uk
