This Morning descended into chaos after a man who claimed to have brought a leprechaun into the studio swore when it 'disappeared'.
Hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary could barely contain their giggles as leprechaun whisperer Kevin Woods discussed his interest in the tiny people and explained that there were only 236 of them left in Ireland.
Spotting Hammond laughing, Woods told her off and told her to take him seriously, leading the TV star to say sorry.

He insisted that the black bag he was clutching actually contained a leprechaun, and the presenters were beside themselves with excitement as he opened it – only to find nothing there other than some shoes, a tiny suit, a little spade and some gold.
“Oh the wee fe****,” Woods exclaimed, looking perplexed as he stared into the empty sack.
“Well, they play tricks on people,” he added.
Hammond said sorry for the slip up, telling viewers: “Apologies if there was any bad language whatsoever.”
This Morning fans admitted they couldn’t believe what they were watching on the St Patrick’s Day show.
“What is happening on @thismorning with this leprechaun guy?” asked one baffled viewer, while another asked: “What the hell is going on?”
One person wondered whether it was some sort of prank for Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
“What am I actually watching,” asked another fan.
Though it left many scratching their heads, most viewers thought it was hilarious.
“I'm literally crying laughing watching,” one person tweeted.
Another posted: “Kevin the leprechaun whisperer on @thismorning absolute telly gold! It proper made me laugh.”
