Three Chinese restaurants named best in Northern Ireland ahead of the Golden Chopsticks Awards 2024

Three Belfast Chinese restaurants have been named the best in Northern Ireland ahead of the Golden Chopsticks Awards 2024.

The Golden Chopsticks Awards recognises East and South East Asian cuisine across the UK with a mission to celebrate the enormous contribution of restaurateurs and food businesses to the UK catering industry and champion the food heroes working within it.

Co-founded by TV personality and DJ Gok Wan to celebrate East and South East Asian cuisine in the UK, the grand final of the awards will take place at the end of the month.

The three spots up for The Golden Chopsticks Best Restaurant in Northern Ireland are:

COSMO

Recognised for their East and South East Asian cuisine, COSMO offers Teppanyaki style dishes cooked over roaring flames, as well as their Chinese menu which allows guests to tour the Asian continent, enjoying everything from Cantonese to Sichuan, Shandong and Fujian at live cooking stations in the venue.

It is located on the top floor of Victoria Square Shopping Centre.

Dumpling Library

A unique Asian adventure located at St Anne's Square in the Cathedral Quarter.

Dumpling Library offers a variety of exquisite small dishes, influenced by traditional Chinese, Korean and Japanese flavours and is the latest venture by Eddie Fung, developed alongside his Executive Chef Kit Chu.

House of Zen

Opened since April 2012, The House of Zen blends a little bit of the Orient into the traditional cobbled streets and cosy bars of the Cathedral Quarter in Belfast.

Also found in St Anne's Square, House of Zen is known for their deliciously mouthwatering Chinese menu and ensure there is something for everyone no matter what your taste.
