Timber Festival has raised the bar even higher with the announcement of several exciting new acts joining its already impressive 2024 lineup.

Leading the charge at the event between 5-7 July 2024 is the critically acclaimed avant-garde musician Tirzah, who will headline the Saturday night in her only UK festival appearance this year. Fans who can’t make the whole weekend can pick up an evening-only ticket.

Having sold out iconic venues across the UK, US, and Europe, and commanding the largest crowd of the day at the esteemed We Out Here festival in South London, anticipation is high for Tirzah’s set in the heart of the National Forest in the Midlands.

Enhancing the eclectic musical offerings are atmospheric three-piece Makushin, whose delicate, tender sounds will provide the perfect ethereal accompaniment to the festival’s natural setting. Annie Gardiner, of acclaimed rock duo Hysterical Injury, is also set to bewitch with her stunning vocals and hauntingly beautiful melodies.

Meanwhile, Italian-born, London-based artist Heka will inject a refreshing fusion of folk and contemporary electronic elements, while Scott Matthews’ distinctive blend of folk, rock, blues and Eastern-influenced songwriting promises a richly immersive experience.

These exciting new additions add depth to an already stacked bill featuring seminal figures like Haçienda legend Dave Haslam, the electro-folk stylings of Frankie Archer, revered singer-songwriter Rozi Plain, and the Mercury-nominated Lou Rhodes performing as part of her critically lauded Kiiōtō project alongside Rohan Heath.

With guest-curated stages from tastemakers Jason Singh and Stone Club, Timber Festival 2024 is shaping up to be an unmissable celebration of music, art and ideas – all underpinned by a profound connection to nature amid the idyllic National Forest setting.
