It may only be the first week in July but Irish League action is back. This Friday night sees the annual season curtain raiser as Larne take on Cliftonville in the Charity Shield.

The Irish Premiership champions will host the Irish Cup winners ahead of next month's start of the new league campaign. It will provide both sides with a good workout ahead of their European ties later in July.

Action Mental Health has been announced as the League's new charity partner. The exciting new partnership kicks off with the NIFL Charity Shield to start the new season.
