It looks like the Master and Missy are taking over in next week's Doctor Who series 10 finale 'The Doctor Falls' after this week's thrilling episode.

In the first-look trailer, Missy talks about the "exciting" city that turns people into Cybermen, though we think the Doctor may disagree.

"There's only one way to stop that many Cybermen – me!" he declares, later asking Missy to stand with him.

The idea of standing with the Doctor is brought up again in another trailer for next week's big finale, as John Simm's The Master angrily declares what side he's on.

"I will never stand with the Doctor," he seethes.

And while there's no sign of Bill in either trailer, putting her future on the show in doubt even more, it's the Doctor himself who seems like he's in the most trouble next week – and if the episode title didn't give that game away, his heartfelt speech in this trailer does.

"Who I am is where I stand, where I stand is where I fall," he says. "Without hope, without witness, without reward... stand with me. It's all I've ever wanted."

Oh, and there's also that regeneration tease too, though whether this is the moment we bid Capaldi farewell or it's just a partial regeneration – that same hand can also be seen with a bandage on... – we'll just have to wait and see.
