Timelapse Captures Shelf Cloud Passing Over Southern Mississippi

Scattered storms capable of flash flooding developed over southern Louisiana and southern Mississippi on Friday, August 19, National Weather Service (NWS) radar shows.

Video posted by the NWS Data Buoy Center in Hancock County on Friday morning shows a shelf cloud looming over the complex shared with NASA’s John C Stennis Space Center.
