There are plenty of cafe’s dotted all over Surrey, all with their own quirks. However it was Basil & Blue that was crowned Muddy Stilettos' best cafe for 2024. The small coffee shop in Chobham, takes pride in serving more than just food and drink, with community at its core.

Basil & Blue’s focus is providing a relaxed environment where customers can feel at home. Staff know hundreds of coffee orders for their regulars and are encouraged to be chatty and generous with their time.

The cafe does change up the menu from time to time but customers can expect to find an extensive drink menu including specialty teas as well as hot and cold coffees. Their hot chocolate selection caters for different darkness levels as well as flavour combinations. Hand flaked by two family run chocolate businesses the drinks have been approved both by staff and hot chocolate regulars.
