Toddler Drives Homemade Mini Zamboni on Backyard Ice Rink

A toddler joined her siblings for playtime on their backyard ice rink in Boise, Idaho, getting in on the fun while driving a homemade Zamboni-like ice-resurfacing machine.

Video taken by Nick Scott shows his 15-month-old daughter, Nikah Kai, motoring on the ice.

“She can’t walk, let alone skate yet. So she is joining her sisters on our backyard ice rink by being the Zamboni operator,” Scott told Storyful. “I modified a Kidz Zone bumper car to work with a hot water tank that mists the ice and squeegees with a hot dip towel to slick out the ice.” Credit: Nick Scott via Storyful
