Tom Parker's widow Kelsey says daughter announces his death like 'a mic drop'
The Wanted star Tom died in 2022 after fighting a brain tumour
Tom Parker’s widow Kelsey has told how their daughter announces his death to everyone like “a mic drop”.
The Wanted singer died last year aged 33 after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour, leaving Kelsey, their daughter Aurelia, four, and son Bodhi, two.
Opening up on The Secret To podcast, Kelsey said she had been very open with her children about the fact their dad had passed away as she believes “honesty is the best policy”.

She said: “I just was really matter of fact and I said, ‘Your dad has died. He’s not coming back. And he’s now going to be with the angels and we’ve just got to get on with life’.”
Kelsey went on: “Even at the weekend, Aurelia was saying to me… we were at a party, and I don’t know, she must have been… because she likes to tell people, which I’m fine with – ‘You tell everyone.’
“She does it a bit of a mic drop, like, ‘My dad’s dead.’
“And everyone is like…” she went on, whirling her head around with a shocked expression to demonstrate her point.
Tom was diagnosed with an “inoperable” stage-four glioblastoma in 2020, while Kelsey was pregnant with Bodhi.
She announced in March 2022 that he had died, saying in a moving Instagram post that she was “ forever proud” of him.
Kelsey has since said she believes the late singer sends her signs.

Appearing on Loose Women months after he passed away, she said: “He has given me so many signs… car alarms go off at four in the morning. I’m like, ‘Not four in the morning, Tom.'
"I do talk to him and that’s a release as well. I can feel him there.”
