Tonight's Blind Date had an awkward marriage proposal

Blind Date has now become a staple of our Saturday nights once again, and tonight (July 22) we got to meet a new raft of singletons looking for love.

We certainly had a few interesting characters, kicking off with flight attendant Sophie, who was quick to mention that she "would do anything at the drop of a hat". Ooh err.

However, she got quite the answer when she asked how rugged her potential new dates were… and everyone's skinny new fave Aidan less-than-fit the bill:

Sophie also brought in a bag of Harry Potter magic when she asked the guys what spell they would cast on her (cue jokes about wands):

And while number one said he was a fan of the book series, his shirt-taking-off antics were not impressing some:

We also caught up with last week's Gary and Deborah, though the former made things rather awkward with a less-than-flattering comment:

Football mad hopeful Ted was also looking for love – and of course people had some opinions on him, especially after he dabbed:

But we really do hope Ted's choice of Bea works out, especially after the show really splashed out on their date destination:

Meanwhile, we found out what happened with last week's couple Amy and Dom – and yep she actually discussed marriage:

Well, when you know you know, you know?
