Yahoo News Top Boy’s tense final trailer teases Stef’s revenge for brother Jamie
Top Boy has released the trailer for its third and final season, coming to Netflix later this week.
The third chapter — technically season 5, since the streamer retroactively markets the Channel 4 seasons under a different name — hints at a dramatic finale for the characters and a showdown for the control of Summerhouse Estate.
The clip, released yesterday (September 5), also hints at a possible revenge for Stef (Araloyin Oshunremi), Jamie's brother, who's seen wearing his sibling's necklace and wielding a gun.

In season 4, Jamie was shot in the head by Sully (Kane Robinson), meaning the drug dealer might have to watch his back as the new season also teases the end of the road for him and Dushane (Ashley Walters).
Season 5 will also introduce mysterious character Jonny, played by The Banshees of Inisherin star Barry Keoghan, and Tadgh, portrayed by Brian Gleeson. The new trailer includes a sneak peek at Jonny, who's seen talking to Sully in a boxing gym.

Premiered in 2011 on Channel 4 and dropped by the network in 2014 after two seasons, Top Boy was picked up and revived by Netflix in 2017.
"For those that have followed the journey from the start, you will know how much this show means to everyone on our team and we wholeheartedly know how much it means to you," actors Walters and Robinson said in a statement when the final season was announced.
"These characters have been a part of our lives for over a decade now and without everyone's support we couldn't have come this far."
Top Boy seasons 1-4 are available to stream on Netflix now. Season 5 starts streaming from September 7.
