Harry Kane could be getting a swift reunion with Son Heung-min and his Tottenham Hotspur team-mates with a friendly expected to take place against Bayern Munich in South Korea in August.

The England captain left for Bayern last summer and just under a year on he could be facing his old team Tottenham as both clubs travel to South Korea to once again take part in the Coupang Play Series tournament. As part of a three-match summer tour to Asia, it is believed that Spurs will take on a friendly with Team K League in a K League All-Star game.

Then Tottenham and Bayern will take on each other a few days later. Eric Dier could also be playing alongside Kane for Bayern if he earns a permanent contract at the Bavarian club after his current loan from Spurs ends. The kick-off times and locations of the matches are yet to be confirmed.

Spurs toured South Korea in 2022 with Son the star attraction as the captain of the national side, including a game against Team K League which Tottenham won 6-3 before a 1-1 draw against Sevilla. Son will also come up against another Korean star in Kim Min-Jae, who plays in central defence for Bayern and has quickly become a household name in his homeland as well.

With the European Championships and Copa America taking place this summer, Ange Postecoglou will have to wait to see which players he has available for the tour in July with both competitions coming to a close in the middle of the month.

There is also the strong possibility that Spurs will play a post-season friendly after this current campaign with Melbourne mooted as a potential destination due to Postecoglou's popularity in the city he grew up in.
