Toy Story 4 star Tom Hanks has revealed that Disney supplied himself and Tim Allen with documented instructions before they spoke to the media.

The Hollywood icons are currently doing the press rounds in support of Pixar's five-star animated feature, but understandably, the House of Mouse is intensely protective of the movie's big moments and doesn't want to risk any spoilers.

Hanks doesn't want to become the next Tom Holland, after all.

Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the double Oscar winner shared some insight into the lengths Disney goes to in its spoiler prevention.

"I have these talking points that Disney gives you at the beginning of the press junket thing and these things are like Gutenberg Bible stuff," he explained before unveiling the paper document.

"Look at how many times I've studied them... I've spilled some tomato juice on it at one point."

Hanks went on to discuss how Disney executives provided sample questions for the actors to mull over, such as "Can you talk about how Buzz is learning to listen to his inner voice?"

He then shared one particularly in-depth talking point that he was supposed to reiterate during interviews: "Bo Peep should be described as a strong character from the beginning. Her recent experience perhaps made her strong, but she was never a weak character."

Finding this funny? Well, the Woody voice actor is probably in trouble now for disclosing all of this, as he said: "Do you know how many executives right now want to kick my ass because I brought this out? They have an entire division over there."

Toy Story 4 is released on June 21.
