The future of Toby Alderweireld leads the back pages on Wednesday as Chelsea enter the race for the Tottenham defender.

Alderweireld has not played for Spurs since the FA Cup match at Rochdale a month ago, but he is in the Belgium squad for next Tuesday’s friendly against Saudi Arabia.

Rivals are monitoring the situation with Manchester United also considering a summer swoop. Spurs will consider selling Alderweireld in the summer, but he has no firm offers on the table.
