A man who sadly died following a motorcycle crash in Torquay last month has been named as Lee Craven as his family pay tribute to a "much-loved dad." 43-year-old Lee, from Lancashire, was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash on Teignmouth Road on Tuesday, April 16.

The collision involved a motorcycle and a Citroen car, Devon and Cornwall Police said. Emergency services were called to the scene at around 7.40pm where Lee was pronounced dead.

His family released a tribute to Lee, saying: "The family would very much appreciate their privacy at this time, Lee was a very much-loved dad, son and fiancé. He will be greatly missed by all."

Last Tuesday, April 21, a minute silence was held in honour of Lee at The Whistlestop Cafe in Teignmouth. A social media post from the cafe said funds would be raised to give the "much-loved" man the "send off he deserves".

"We ask that as many bikers as possible come and pay respect for a much loved man. ALL money collected in the bucket will go towards giving him the send off he deserves, so please give generously."

It concludes: "Our hearts break for you all. President fallen ones, Riviera, CFFC, he will be sorely missed by all of his brothers."
