Tributes have poured in for a tiny baby who was found dead in Wigan.

Police responding to a "concern for welfare" call at a house on Marsh Green, Wigan, discovered the infant's remains last week. Five people aged between 20 and 70 were arrested on suspicion of concealing a death and unlawful burial, and were released on bail.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said officers were likely to remain on the street this week as an investigation is underway. An additional scene is also in place on Valley Road in Pemberton.
