As a national we are all familiar with the intricacies of British weather and totally up to speed with queuing etiquette.
But there are a few things that we Brits just can’t get our heads around.
A study found that the average Briton gets royally confused on average three times a week, with politics, financial terms and sporting regulations coming out as particularly perplexing.
And our lack of understanding is hitting us in the pocket. Phone company GiffGaff, who carried out the research, found that 14% of people have lost more than £2,000 because of not fully understanding financial small print.
These are the things that leave Brits scratching our heads.
