  • Eminem released a surprise album called Music to Be Murdered By today. The song “Unaccommodating” features lyrics about Ariana Grande and the Manchester Bombing.
  • Twitter is dragging him for the “sick” lyrics.
  • Ariana has PTSD and 22 people died as a result of the 2017 attack.

From rapping about how he is petty but won’t paint toes to sorta comparing himself to a plunger to bringing up his feud with MGK, there’s a lot to digest in Eminem’s new “Unaccommodating” song. Overnight, the controversial Detroit rapper surprise-dropped a new album called Music to Be Murdered By, and it’s safe to say that Ariana Grande fans are pissed about how he turned the tragic Manchester Bombing into a lyric.

For anyone who hasn’t listened yet, here are the lyrics in question. They’re followed by an explosion sound on the track:

But I’m contemplating yelling “Bombs away” on the game
Like I’m outside of an Ariana Grande concert waiting
Here comes Saddam Hussein, Ayatollah Khomeini
Where’s Osama been? I been laden lately
Look at how I’m behaving, they want me gone away
They wanna JonBenet me (fuck you), I’m unaccommodating
Man, I don’t see why they hate me

As you can see, Eminem says he doesn’t understand why people hate him, but, uh, if you check out Twitter, the answer is pretty obvious. After the song got around this morning, Ariana’s fans hopped online to say just how “sick” they think it is considering 22 people died and Ariana has PTSD as a result.

One user wrote, “Eminem literally just made a joke about the Manchester Bombing at Ariana Grande’s concert...that is just so fucking sick, y’all better not give this man any attention. People literally lost their lives, and you’re going to release music and try to make a profit off of them?”

There were a few listeners who defended Eminem and pointed to how he helped raise over $2 million to donate to the Manchester victims, but others came back and said he still should have been more considerate to everyone impacted by the bombing.
