Tyler Roberts posts Birmingham City message after linking up with Tom Brady coach

Birmingham City forward Tyler Roberts has already started his pre pre-season out in the United States.

The 25-year-old has linked up with Rob Brennan, one of two fitness coaches from Tom Brady’s TBRX brand that were deployed at the Blues training ground last season, to begin his preparation for the 2024/25 campaign.

Roberts is working with Brennan in Nevada, Las Vegas. Posting on his Instagram stories, Roberts said: “Let’s work. Comeback is on.”

The Wales international was signed from Leeds United last summer and penned a four-year contract at St Andrew’s. But his maiden season at Blues didn’t go to plan, with injuries restricting him to 19 appearances across all competitions.

Roberts made 50 Premier League appearances during his time at Leeds but now faces the prospect of returning to League One, where he starred on loan for Oxford United and Walsall in his teens.

After two injury-hit seasons for Queens Park Rangers, where he spent 2022/23 on loan, and Blues, Roberts will be hoping to complete a campaign unscathed. And the groundwork is being put in early with Brennan out in the states.
