Tyson Fury had some strong words for Jake Paul during the press conference before the YouTuber’s fight against Tommy Fury on December 18th.

A virtual press conference was held ahead of the fight in Tampa Bay, Florida next month and Tyson, who is training his brother from their base in Morecambe, was asked what he made of Paul’s move into the boxing world.

Delivering his verdict on the fight, the WBC heavyweight champion said: “Poor old Jake Paul is going to get severely knocked out.”

Fury then criticised Paul’s boxing career so far, saying: “He hasn’t really done anything. I’m waiting for this master of sales to do something.”

Paul, speaking from his swimming pool in Puerto Rico, interjected and suggested he had made more money from boxing than Fury had this year before Tyson and his father insulted the American and claimed he had fallen for their mind games.

Largely, the press conference then descended into a shouting match between John Fury and Paul as the two younger Furys tried to contain their laugher.

BT Sport Box Office will show Jake Paul v Tommy Fury exclusively live on Saturday 18th December.
