Police have launched an appeal after a two year old Highland calf was stolen in Denbighshire. Rural officers branded the theft "unbelievable" and urged anyone with information to contact the force, quoting the reference number. It happened overnight in Eglwyseg, near Llangollen, last week.

A North Wales Police Rural Crime Team appeal said: "Stolen overnight Tuesday 14th May from land in the Eglwyseg area of Llangollen, a 2 day old Highland Calf . Unbelievable ! If anyone has any information that could help , please get in touch ref 24000448363."
