Unicycling Piper Says He Is Showing the World How Portland Deals With Coronavirus

The Unipiper, an eccentric street performer based in Portland, Oregon, took to his city’s streets on March 8 to stage a whimsical faux COVID-19 disinfection – complete with biohazard suit, can of Lysol, and flaming bagpipes.

Portland native Brian Kidd, the self-proclaimed ‘Unipiper,’ regularly dons costumes while riding his unicycle and playing bagpipes in the famously quirky city.

Kidd originally posted the video to his Facebook page with the caption, “There, that should do it.”

Kidd told Storyful the video is self-explanatory, but added that he made the video to “show Portland’s reaction to dealing with the coronavirus.”
