Yahoo News University Challenge's Monkman & Seagull just teamed up
They might have fought against each other last night, but University Challenge's Eric Monkman and Bobby Seagull teamed up together on tonight's (March 28) episode of The One Show.
Making many thousands of University Challenge fans' dreams come true, Monkman and Seagull joined forces in a battle against Rogue One's Riz Ahmed to prove they are, of course, the true dream team.
It was Cambridge vs Oxford (yup, Riz went to Oxford) in the showdown, and even though the questions were rigged in Riz's favour, Monkman and Seagull came out on top, winning 3 points to 1. Sorry, Riz.
Even if Monkman and his Wolfson College, Cambridge team don't take the title in the official competition, at least he still has this victory to hold on to.

Elsewhere on The One Show, Riz revealed the extreme lengths he went to to bag his role as Bodhi in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
"Every minute on the film set costs money... you have to move on, but when I can just do auditions at home, there's no one to stop me," he explained.
"So when Gareth Edwards called me up and asked me to audition, he made the mistake of giving me his email address."
Proving his sheer dedication to the role, Riz admitted that he actually sent out a whopping 14 tapes to poor Gareth before he was finally successful in his efforts. Perseverance pays off, eh?
