US Flag Unfurled on Wall of Pentagon for 9/11 Tribute

A US flag was unfurled over the side of the Pentagon at the break of dawn on September 11 in honor of the victims that died in the 9/11 attacks 18 years ago.

President Donald Trump, US Secretary of Defense Mark Esper, and other chief officials were present at the Pentagon’s 9/11 Memorial later in the day for an observance ceremony.

Trump reportedly laid a wreath at the site, telling the relatives of victims: “This is your anniversary of personal and permanent loss.”
