US Soldiers Assist South Korean Authorities With Disinfecting City

The US Army assisted South Korean authorities in sanitizing a public park in the city of Daegu on March 26.

As of March 29, 9,583 people had tested positive for the coronavirus nationwide according to the World Health Organization. Of those, 6,624 were in Daegu.

The Defense Visual Information Distribution Service described the footage: “US-ROK Army Soldiers sanitize a park outside of Daegu City Duryu Library to support the COVID-19 sanitizing operations in Daegu, Republic of Korea, March 26, 2020. The soldiers wear personal protective equipment to protect themselves from the disinfectant.”
