The announcement comes as the “My Boo” performer prepares to headline the Super Bowl halftime show next week. In an interview with Good Morning America, Usher revealed that he is putting the spotlight on R&B for the much-anticipated performance and highlighting those who have inspired him.

"I didn't start where I am now, and I didn't get there by myself," he said. "So, everybody that has been a part of it, I'm carrying them with me. All of my fans, my loved ones — the people who may have felt like they have been forgotten, they haven't. I'm carrying you right with me when I walk on that stage that night."

The R&B star continued: “Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen. I’ll see you real soon.”
