Lance "FinestSlouch" Arcilla, the Filipino VALORANT gamer behind the iconic "Jett revive me" meme has died. He was 21 years old.

Arcilla uttered the words that would go on to become one of the most popular memes in the VALORANT community while playing a game as Omen, a Controller.

After getting killed, Arcilla repeatedly asked a teammate playing as the Duelist Jett to revive him, despite the Agent not having an ability to do so. The only Agent in VALORANT who has an ability to revive currently is Sage, a Sentinel.

The "Jett revive me" meme became so popular that VALORANT developer Riot Games immortalized Arcilla's words with a spray released back in Episode 2: Act 2.

Arcilla's death was first announced by a friend of his in the VALORANT Philippines Facebook group, though the original post has since been taken down.

Arcilla's mother later confirmed his passing on Facebook, describing him as "a treasure" and a son that always "put us first".

"Thank you anak for the 21 years of wonderful memories na ibinigay mo sa amin ni papa mo (Thank you my child for the 21 years of wonderful memories that you gave me and your papa)," said Arcilla's mother in a heart-warming tribute.

"Alam kong pagod at hirap ka na rin, ang daya mo nga lang kasi ganito pala ang gusto mong pahinga..be our guardian angel anak ko." (I know that you were tired and suffering, but it hurts that this was the rest that you wanted. Be our guardian angel, my child)

Arcilla's cause of death is unclear, but his mother's Facebook post suggest that he may have faced health-related issues prior to his death.
