Yahoo News Vampire Diaries stars reunite for a new project
The Vampire Diaries stars Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley have reunited for a new project.
We last saw the Salvatore brothers two years ago when the actors wrapped up the final season of the hit teen drama series.
And as much as we would love to see the two stars reprise their roles as the charming duo, they have decided to embark on a slightly different venture together.

Somerhalder and Wesley are developing their very own bourbon. Yes, you read that right.
Could Damon Salvatore's obsession with the notorious drink have something to do with that? Perhaps.
Taking to Instagram, the actor revealed that he and Wesley are working together to launch the bourbon brand.

"Can you imagine if the Salvatore brothers had their OWN bourbon? Well, it's coming!" wrote Somerhalder under his post.
"Paul Wesley and I have been working our asses off with our incredible team to make this happen. With passion, hard work and an uncompromising quest/thirst for quality, we have arrived! We want to share with you something very special and dear to us.
"You've given us so many wonderful years as these characters and we want to bring you something to enjoy that brings back some great memories and some good times to come!"

"It's going to be fun," he added. "We re going to be travelling the world meeting so many of you and launching this with some very fun parties I must say!"
The Vampire Diaries spin-off Legacies season 2 premieres in the US on Thursday, October 10 at 10pm on The CW.
