Yahoo News Vanessa Feltz's ex Ben Ofoedu 'spiralled out of control' after split
The broadcaster and Ben Ofoedu were together from 2006 until earlier this year
Vanessa Feltz's ex partner Ben Ofoedu says he was "out of control" after his relationship with the broadcaster ended earlier this year.
Feltz and Ofoedu originally became a couple in 2006 and became an engaged a year later but never married. They split earlier this year following rumours Odoeudu had an affair.
Talking to the Daily Mail, Ofoedu opened up about his mental state after the end of the relationship and how his new West End show has helped him get back on track: "I had my brother pass away and then shortly after that, my relationship with Vanessa was no more."

He added: "That's a 17 year relationship. And man, I was just spiralling out of control. I just felt like everything was closing in on me, my whole life and with the trolling and the backlash I received from my split with Vanessa.
"I understand that people are just saying stuff and voicing their opinion, but I kind of understand now how people feel that there's no way out and they just want to end it all."
Ofoedu also said the online comments he received took their toll on him saying that the backlash made him feel "terrible" and made him dread reading what the next headline would be.
Ofoedu later admitted to having affairs behind Feltz's back which is what caused the end of the relationship. He has since made numerous public appeals to win her back and says he still loves her.
The singer can currently be seen performing in Tony n' Tina's Wedding, an interactive musical taking place at the ArcelorMittal Orbit tower.
