Vanessa Hudgens Is a 'Happy Ghoul' as She Celebrates Start of Spooky Season with Fiancé Cole Tucker

The engaged couple kicked off spooky season over the weekend at the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride

Vanessa Hudgens is kicking off spooky season in the best way possible!

The High School Musical actress, 34, shared a sweet new photo of herself alongside fiancé Cole Tucker at the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride over the weekend. In the black-and-white shot on Instagram, the couple held each other close as they smiled from ear to ear.

"Spooky szn + my fiancé = happy ghoul," Hudgens captioned the post, which Tucker, 27, responded to with a red heart emoji.

Hudgens also celebrated the beginning of October with a black and white photo with her younger sister Stella. "Happy October 1st ghouls 💀👻🎃" she captioned it.

Hudgens was first linked to the Colorado Rockies player in 2020. Opening up about their relationship for the first time, Hudgens told Entertainment Tonight that he's "just kind of perfect for me."

The actress later revealed on The Drew Barrymore Show that after meeting Tucker on a Zoom meditation class, Hudgens made the first move. "If I want something or someone, I'm going after them," she told the host in May 2021. "I fully just slid into his DMs and was like, 'Hey, it was nice to meet you.' So I think there is no shame in making the first."

The twosome has since been able to celebrate multiple Halloweens together, which Hudgens has been known to slay annually. She shared a photo of the pair all dressed up last year, writing, "Happy Halloween from Sting and Miss Argentina 🎃."

Hudgens and Tucker announced their engagement in February. At the time, they shared a joint Instagram post with the caption: "YES. We couldn’t be happier 🤍."

The Cali Water founder later shared on Today that "it feels amazing" being engaged, adding, "It's so funny, I was talking about this with Cole …. People are always like, 'Does it feel different? [Do] things feel different [getting engaged]?' That was always my question normally, but now I get to be asked it. And you know what, it actually does. There's a sense of security. You feel so safe. It's the best thing ever. I love being a fiancée."

Last month, Hudgens told PEOPLE that wedding planning has been "wild."

"My best friend is getting married as well," she added. "And she's going through it and I was just like, 'My God, dresses are so expensive.' It's nuts."
