A unique Tesco's entrance in our town has been compared to a series of major motion pictures.

The popular supermarket which is situated along the River Thames on Napier Road boasts a circular framed sign that leads onto a woodland walk.

The peculiarity of the entrance was picked up on by Christian Calgie who posted a photograph of it on X, formally known as Twitter, along with the caption "Found a very very weird Tesco entrance in Reading. Incomparable vibes."

This gained a considerable amount of reaction, and was even picked up by a popular meme account called 'Great British Memes.'

The account then shared the photograph, dubbing the bizarre entrance 'Jurassic Park Tesco's,' which subsequently gained over six thousand likes, over five hundred comments, and was shared almost six hundred times.

Once residents noticed this, many posted on Facebook exclaiming that we as a town are currently going viral for our peculiar Tesco's entrance.
