Vibrant Cherry Blossoms Bloom in Southern Maryland

Cherry blossoms in parts of southern Maryland remained in full bloom on Friday, March 29, in spite of gusty wind conditions in the region.

This year’s bloom has been particularly long-lasting, an arborist for the National Park Service (NPS) told the Washington Post, as the trees reached peak bloom on March 17.
