Victoria Beckham admits she has few friends as she shares sweet birthday video

Photographers can sometimes get a bad reputation in celebville however, Victoria Beckham has shared two cute videos on Instagram, including one of her daughter and another of a throng of paparazzi singing her “happy birthday” as she turned 43 on Monday.

The former Spice Girls singer was serenaded at the airport by the group of male paps and seemed delighted with the sweet attention.

The life of a celeb, eh?

The videos will melt your heart, but the fashion designer also recently admitted that she doesn’t have a lot of friends.

Speaking to Elle magazine, she confessed: “I’m very close to my sister and a friend I went to school with, and then three or four others. I think a true friend understands that you can’t see them as much as you might want, because they’re busy as well. Everyone I’m friends with has a career and a family.”

Despite her small circle of pals, Victoria – who has kids Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 11, and five-year-old Harper with David Beckham – is too busy to feel lonely and when she does have time alone she cherishes it.

She spilled: “I never, ever feel lonely. I don’t have a lot of friends but I’m surrounded by people I genuinely like to be with.

“I don’t travel much because I don’t want to be away from the children and I need to be in the studio.”

“But if I’m away, I tend to take that time for a bit of ‘self care’.”
