Victoria Beckham has revealed her ultimate comfort food is wholegrain toast with salt on top.
The 47-year-old Spice Girl and fashion designer admitted she is a "very fussy eater" and could even be described as "boring".
Beckham told the River Cafe Table 4 podcast: "This is where I sound even more boring in the food department.
“I like whole grain toast with salt on it.
“It’s that carbohydrate that makes you feel comforted and I love salt. I'm a savoury person as supposed to a sweet person.”
Posh Spice revealed her go-to meal to order when eating out in restaurants is plain, roasted sea bass.
She added: "I love steamed vegetables on the side, some balsamic vinegar and then to season myself."
Beckham admitted: "I'm a very fussy eater. I like things to be cooked in a very simple way. I don't like oils and butters and sauces. So to most restaurants I'm probably the worst nightmare.
The popstar-turned-designer also revealed: “Even Gordon Ramsay, a very good friend of ours, says he’s never seen anybody as disciplined about the way that they eat.”
She added: “I’m not the most exciting eater but I do like to have a drink with my dinner and I can become a very good dinner guest.”
The singer has been married to footballer David Beckham since 1999 and they are parents to sons Brooklyn, 22, Romeo, 19, Cruz, 16, and 10-year-old daughter Harper.
They are close friends with Gordon, Gino & Fred star Ramsay and his wife Tana and their five chidlren.
Beckham is famous for her very regimented diet.
She has previously revealed she starts the day with two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, followed by hot water with fresh lemon juice or green juice and Ezekiel grain cereal with almond milk.
For lunch she favours avocado on toast – admitting she can eat up to four avocados a day – and for dinner she enjoys fish and steamed vegetables.
Beckham has said she snacks on seeds and on her 44th birthday tucked into a cake made entirely from fresh fruit.
