Video: Carol Kirkwood left red-faced after passerby flirts live on air


BBC weather woman Carol Kirkwood was left red-faced when a passerby flirted with her during a live weather report on BBC Breakfast.

The popular Scottish weather woman was reporting on the heatwave from an outdoor swimming pool in Southwest London when a cheeky interaction between a swimmer passerby took place.

Louise Minchin from the BBC Breakfast studio pointed out to Carol that a swimmer was waving to her and encouraged her to wave back.

Carol obliged responding with a “Hi morning” to the male swimmer.

The swimmer responded with a, “How are you?”

“Very well thank you. You’re looking good,” Carol replied.

While Carol most likely was referring to his swimming performance, the man took it for something else, and invited her to “come in.”

Carol turned back to the camera, red-faced and said “We’ll just end it there.”

“That’s an offer, Carol,” said Dan Walker.

Louise then teased that Carol should take the gentleman up on his offer.

“On you go!” she added.

“What if Carol went in and just went full butterfly,” Dan joked.

56-year-old BBC weather reporting veteran Carol is known for her legion of loyal fans, and even has a Twitter fan page with over 4k followers.
