11 Presumed Dead After Military Helicopter Crash in Florida

Search and rescue crews worked along Florida’s coast in Navarre on March 11 after a military helicopter crashed the night before in foggy conditions. The 11 people on board were missing, presumed dead, according to local media.

The crash took place during a regular training exercise out of Eglin Air Force Base at 8:30pm local time on March 10. There were four Army National Guard crew members and seven Marines on board. Debris from the aircraft was found at around 2am local time. Credit: Facebook/Navarre Press
