Afghan President Meets With U.S. State Dept. Official

Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani met with U.S. Asst. Secretary of State Tom Malinowski Thursday, April 9 in the nation’s capital, Kabul. The meeting took place a day after an Afghan soldier shot and killed a U.S. soldier and injured seven others in Jalalabad. Malinowski was not reported to be present at the shooting.
