Bernie Sanders Hails 'Common Sense' Ruling on Obamacare

US presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders on June 25 called a Supreme Court ruling in favor of the Affordable Care Act a “common sense” decision. The Supreme Court ruled that federal subsidies are legal under the act, known as Obamacare, in a second major legal challenge. The federal subsidies help nearly 6.4 million people pay for their Affordable Healthcare Act plans.

Sanders said, “We are the only major country on Earth that doesn’t guarantee healthcare to all of our people as a right…the idea that we would simply throw another 6.4 million people off of health insurance and totally disrupt the Affordable Care Act makes no sense to me.” Credit: YouTube/Bernie Sanders
