British Columbia Fire Burns Nearly 20,000 Acres

The Cariboo Regional District allowed some people who were evacuated from their homes because of a wildfire to return home on July 12. The area, though, still remains under evacuation alert. The Lake Puntzi Fire was listed at nearly 20,000 acres (8,000 hectares), according to Canadian media.
