Demonstrators and Police Clash for a Second Day in Beirut

Police used rubber bullets, tear gas and water cannon for a second day in Beirut on August 23 to quell protests that began over refuse left to rot in the streets. Reports said as many as 75 people were injured on Saturday with protesters camping overnight in the Lebanese capital’s Riad al-Solh square. These videos show the demonstrations in Beirut on Sunday.
