Firefighters From Across California Battle Wragg Wildfire

The Wragg Fire grew to 6,900 acres on Friday, July 24. According to the incident report, the wildfire was 20 percent contained, up from 5 percent a day earlier. Mandatory evacuations remained in effect, but the number of buildings threatened was down from 200 to 150. Local reports suggested that fire was sparked by a vehicle accident, but the cause remains under investigation.

A number of fire departments and agencies were assisting in fighting the wildfire on Thursday and Friday.
