Firefighters Tackle Washington State Motel Blaze After Gas Explosion

A gas company employee suffered serious burns when an explosion ripped through a Motel 6 in Bremerton, Washington, just minutes after the guests had been evacuated. The Seattle Times reported the motel had been evacuated following reports of a gas leak citing fire officials on Tuesday night. Fifteen minutes after the evacuation an explosion rocked a section of the motel.
