Flash Flooding Hits Central Oklahoma

Flash flooding hit neighborhoods in Moore, Oklahoma, on May 8, as severe storms brought hail, damaging winds and heavy rain to central Oklahoma. The American Red Cross set up an evacuation site in Shawnee to tend to those affected by the flooding in greater Oklahoma City, according to local reports. The National Weather Service said damage was reported in parts of central Oklahoma because of 60-70mph winds that swept through the area. Credit: Lauren White
