Kathmandu Home in Ruins Following Second Quake

Just weeks after a devastating 7.8-magnitude earthquake left some 8,000 dead in Nepal, a second strong earthquake hit on Tuesday, May 12. The US Geological Survey (USGS) reported that the 7.3-magnitude earthquake struck 83km (52 miles) east of Kathmandu, and close to the base of Mount Everest.
